ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED - 13 HORNETS HONORED: The 2009 SCFA Post Season Awards were announced earlier today with Kenny Turner named as the offensive MVP and Coach Tim Byrnes voted "Coach of the Year" for the second year in a row!
THE KEY STAYS WITH FULLERTON: For the third year in a row the Hornets defeat Santa Ana College 41-7 retaining the rights to the Key to the County.
KEY TO THE COUNTY BREAKFAST: Representatives from each college, Fullerton and Santa Ana, met for breakfast to lay down challenges the day before California's oldest rivalry game to be held on Saturday, November 14th at the Santa Ana Stadium @ 1:00 pm.
FORMER FOOTBALL HORNET MAKING AN IMPACT! Last season's rookie of the year WR Dameron Fooks is making waves at Oklahoma State University.
HORNETS EDGE THE COMETS: The FC football squad put out the Palomar College Comets 20-17 on Halloween night.

Jim Fassel - Jim Fassel played quarterback at Fullerton College in 1967 and 1968, and helped lead the Hornet football squad to the 1967 National Title under head coach Hal Sherbeck. A few of the FC records still hold strong today such as Most TD Passes in a Game (6 vs OCC) and Most Points in a Game (68 vs Cypress). In 1969 Jim transferred to Long Beach State where he played QB and graduated in 1972.
