HORNET SKIPPER TO SPEAK: FC head baseball coach Nick Fuscardo will speak at the Palm Springs Coaches Clinic September 10th through 12th.
FROM HORNET TO TITAN: Fullerton College catcher Nick O'Loughlin will not have to travel too far as he signed with Cal State Fullerton this past week.
BASEBALL HORNET GOES PRO: FC Center Fielder Tony McClendon was drafted by the Oakland A's this past week!
HORNETS GET ONE BACK: After losing to Riverisde College at home 21-0 on Thursday, FC returned the favor the following day by beating the Tigers on their home field 8-6. The win over RCC wraps up the 2010 baseball season for the Hornets.
NOTHING COMES EASY: The Hornets manage to hang on to an 11-10 win holding off a surging Orange Coast College squad.

Jim Fassel - Jim Fassel played quarterback at Fullerton College in 1967 and 1968, and helped lead the Hornet football squad to the 1967 National Title under head coach Hal Sherbeck. A few of the FC records still hold strong today such as Most TD Passes in a Game (6 vs OCC) and Most Points in a Game (68 vs Cypress). In 1969 Jim transferred to Long Beach State where he played QB and graduated in 1972.
