FORMER HORNET TEARING UP THE BIG 10: 2008 Hornet outfielder Michael Stephens was named to the 1st Team All-Big 10 team while playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
QUITE A TWO-YEAR RUN! FC's Leah Haproff stood out academically and on the volleyball court during her two-year stint as a Hornet.
HORNETS FLY HIGH AT THE STATE MEET: The Hornets came home from the State Finals with two champions in Ashley Jsames and Kenny McGee! The state meet was held on May 15-16th at the College of San Mateo, San Mateo, CA.

Jim Fassel - Jim Fassel played quarterback at Fullerton College in 1967 and 1968, and helped lead the Hornet football squad to the 1967 National Title under head coach Hal Sherbeck. A few of the FC records still hold strong today such as Most TD Passes in a Game (6 vs OCC) and Most Points in a Game (68 vs Cypress). In 1969 Jim transferred to Long Beach State where he played QB and graduated in 1972.
